Our nursery was founded in 2000 and is committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, cared for, and valued. Our leadership team, supported by the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, ensures that we maintain the highest standards of care and education, whilst creating indoor and outdoor environments where children can come into their own.

Our team of dedicated and enthusiastic practitioners works closely together in all areas of the nursery, offering support and guidance to one another and are committed to delivering an excellent service to the families who trust us.

Meet Our Dedicated Team
Sharon Moody – Owner
Sharon founded Kids Capers Day Nursery in 2000 and has a passion for providing high-quality childcare. She works closely with the senior team to maintain a nurturing environment where children feel at home. Sharon holds a BA Honours degree in Childhood Studies and Early Years Teacher Status.
Emma Knight – Nursery Manager
Emma leads the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting staff and ensuring high-quality care. Emma’s experience and dedication help create a positive environment where children can learn and grow. Emma holds a Level 5 qualification in Childhood Studies and a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification.
Cheryl Brown – Deputy Manager
Cheryl works alongside Emma, helping to oversee nursery operations. Cheryl is the nursery SENDCo, supporting families and staff to ensure every child feels welcomed and included. Cheryl holds a Level 5 qualification in Childhood Studies and a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification.
